FAQ

Straight answers, including the ones that do not flatter us.

Is this actual Japanese clothing, or Japanese-inspired?

Inspired, and we say it before you ask. The culture is Japanese, the printing is not. Nobody selling a $50 tee is manufacturing it in Japan, and anyone claiming otherwise is hoping you will not check.

Do you sell anime or licensed designs?

No. Not one. No characters, no series, nothing owned by someone else. Every graphic on this site is drawn in-house, which is also why you will not find the same print on thirty other stores.

Why is a t-shirt $50?

Because it is not a $12 blank with a stock graphic on it. Heavyweight cotton, original artwork, printed as a single piece rather than pulled from a pallet of five thousand.

How long until it arrives, and do you ship worldwide?

Two to five days to print, three to seven to reach you, anywhere we ship. Tracked, and shipping is already in the price. See Shipping & Delivery.

Everything is oversized. What size do I take?

Your usual one. The cut is already dropped at the shoulder and long in the sleeve, so sizing up mostly gets you a longer hem than you wanted. If you are between sizes and want it boxy, go up.

Will the print crack after five washes?

Not if you wash it inside out, cold, and skip the dryer. That is the entire care routine. Anything that fails before it should is on us.

Am I going to look like I am in costume?

Not if you wear one piece at a time. The mistake is buying the whole outfit on Tuesday and wearing it on Wednesday.

What if it does not suit me?

Send it back unworn and unwashed within 30 days and we will refund it. See Refund Policy.
